While Charlie was napping yesterday afternoon, Huddy and I headed out to weed and look for worms. Hudson is an excellent helper. The day was gorgeous.

My tulips mean a lot to me, and not just because I ordered them from Holland, but because I planted the bulbs when I was 8 months pregnant with Hudson.

Hudson is 3-1/2 months old here. This was by the same tulip, on his first Easter. I can't believe how big my baby boy is now.

Just Charlie

My precious baby girl is almost 8 months old and I can hardly stand it. She is still a love bug, so smiley, and still thinks Hudson is the funniest person ever.

Zoo

We went to the zoo last Saturday and it was the perfect zoo day! It wasn't crowded, all the animals were out, and the weather was fabulous.

Hunting for Eggs, Take 3

On Easter Sunday, my parent's, Nonnie, and Ryan's mom came to our house for another (phew) egg hunt for Hudson and a no fuss, make your own sandwich lunch. It was very low key and relaxing. By this point, Hudson knew there was candy in the eggs. The Easter bunny however put $1.00 in some of the eggs. It was hilarious watching Hudson shake the eggs and then only open the ones where he could hear something rattling around. These kids are too smart!

Hunting for Eggs, Take 2

We went to the Egg Hunt in Mill Creek this year and met up with some of our friends. It was really fun since Hudson understood the concept this year. He got to see the Easter bunny and meet some firemen. He insisted on using his Halloween bucket and because he was wearing his red raincoat and firemen rubber boats, it pretty much looks like he is dressed up for Halloween. Pick and choose your battles though, right?! Too funny!

Hunting for Eggs, Take 1

The first egg hunt was with my family. My brother Ted hid the eggs at my parent's house and the kids actually managed to find them ALL, we normally have one egg that is never found!

Swings & Eggs

The first weekend in April the sun came out and we hit the park! My sister and her girls were in town as well to celebrate my sister's birthday and an early Easter.

The kids had fun dying Easter eggs that night. I have put the kiddos in age order. My parent's have 6 grandkids, 6 and under (at one point they had 6, 5 and under, crazy huh?!?!). Needless to say, our get togethers are loud and very busy!!

March Stuff

I have decided that I am taking the blog into a new direction since I clearly don't have the time like I used to. Until I have more time again (pause for laughter here) I will be posting pictures with brief descriptions unless there is something that warrants more of a detailed posting. With that, here's some pictures from March.

Matching St. Patty's Day Shirts

This is Huddy's "cheesy" smile, we think it's hilarious and he does it on command!

Fancy date night at the Seattle Sounders FC Inaugural Bash. I can't even remember the last time I wore a dress!

Ryan likes to point out the fact that I am 2 years older than him quite often. There are about 6 weeks where I am actually 3 years older than him and he thinks it's hilarious to bring up how "old" I am. He must of told Hudson that I was "old" one night because as I was putting Hudson in his jammies, he asked me "Mommy, you old?". I simply replied by saying "Well, it depends on who you ask. If you ask Grandma, she would say no. If you ask Charlie, she would say yes". I of course told Ryan about Hudson saying this to me. We had a good laugh and I didn't think much of it after that, until my birthday when I saw my cake. Now, some people may not appreciate the thought put behind this, but for my husband to actually remember this conversation and take it one step further, frankly, I think it's down right adorable.
